Its just amazing to interact with classmates from ore than 30 countries and get to know different cultures as we practice our languages while learning new ones.
The help from my EF teachers has just been amazing they’ve been there every step of the way, right from the beginning from when I came here, applying, registering in UCAS and then to the very last point when you send you application to the university. The support is incredible; I couldn’t have made it so far without their help.
The preparation programme classes are very appealing because they are interactive; every student has the chance to participate and communicate with each other. At the end of the High School Preparation Program, we were ready for the academic demands of High School courses.
Studying with such a diverse group of classmates was really nice and not just in terms of having the classes with them but just hanging out with them during various events and activities was a priceless experience!

My host family is very nice and I have conversations with them which help me to improve my English. They always ask how I am doing and want to make sure everything is going well at school. It really feels like family.
It was a pleasant surprise that the British education system emphasised on how to get one’s views across and how well it integrated everyday life and textbook knowledge. Rather natural for a scientist, I have always enjoyed thinking out of the box, something that’s appreciated and encouraged by teachers in the UK. Such learning experience would have been impossible had I attended a school in Hong Kong.
